Want to ensure you get some GREAT images from your wedding day?

Take a few small tips from me, a seasoned wedding photographer, to ensure you get some of the best images that you’ll look back on forever and smile!

Getting Ready

Get ready in a room with lots of natural light and preferably neutral colored walls. Hotel suites can be a great option, because they are spacious and typically have large windows on one of the walls. If you’re getting ready at your house, a naturally well-lit room works best.

Do the First Look

YOU WON’T REGRET IT!!

I know some of my wedding couples prefer not to do the first look, which is totally fine too! BUTTTT, if you do opt to go with the first look, you’ll get more images, you’ll lessen your wedding day nerves, and you’ll get a moment alone together.

Follow the Timeline

As a photographer myself, I help my couples create a custom wedding day timeline based upon their wedding day. We want to make sure we follow it as much as possible, because if you begin to fall behind, it could mean less time for photos of something else.

Sunset Portraits

This is one thing my couples never regret and one of my favorite parts of the wedding day!!! Photos of couples with the warm, golden tones and pretty evening skies are almost always my favorites!
