When I met Cassie a few months ago, we were chatting about her and Chris’ engagement session. We agreed it would be really pretty to do engagement photos in the snow!
Cassie and Chris selected the first week of January for their “snowy” Sioux City engagement session, but Mother Nature had other plans for us… we didn’t have any snow.
We got out of our cars couldn’t believe how lucky we were to have such a nice “warm” day for their January engagement session. Okay, but seriously, 30º seemed nice for January, but I’m not typically outside for long periods of time.
The 30º weather and chilly breeze would whip through every few minutes and mess up Cassie’s curls and eventually got the best of all of us. Halfway through the session, we couldn’t feel our fingers..
Cassie, Chris, and I were able to tough it out and we all left their engagement session with all of our fingers and some stunning images! Here’s to hoping their September wedding will be a lot warmer than their engagement session!
