Andrew and Jordain drove from the middle of South Dakota to Sioux City, Iowa for their spring engagement session this week. We met at Adam’s Nature Preserve – it’s one of my favorite locations in the spring and summer time.

I found out early on during their session that this session was the first time they had ever taken professional photos together AND they don’t love really getting their photo taken.

Getting your photos taken isn’t always fun for everyone, but I always promise to make the session as easy and painless as possible for those who don’t enjoy being in front of the camera. It can be a little nerve wracking, but I’ll always let me couples and clients know exactly what to do with their hands, feet, and head!

Honestly, I couldn’t tell they don’t like getting their photo taken.

After each new prompt I’d give them, they’d nail it on the first try. It’s like they’ve been model their entire lives!
