When I first talked to Lane and Hannah about their engagement session, they knew two things:

  • Lane wanted the engagement session to take place on his parent’s property.
  • Hannah wanted the engagement session to take place in the winter with snow on the ground, so we scheduled for December.

Easy – our planning was done and now we were just waiting for December and a snowfall.

A few days before their scheduled engagement session, Hannah and I were checking the forecast and it was WARM weather, so we rescheduled for January in hopes we’d receive some snow.

BOY, AM I GLAD WE DID!

When we rescheduled, we were just hoping for a few inches of snow, but what we got was just that AND the most beautiful fog in the air and frost on the trees too!

We walked up what seemed like a mountain to the most beautiful location! There were so many pretty places in this area for their session and honestly, I could’ve stayed there for HOURS photographing Lane and Hannah here, but we lost the feeling in our fingers and toes in about an hour of being outside.

Let me tell you though – IT WAS WORTH IT!
