Dear past Taylor,

This is future Taylor waving from 2019 as we officially just completed your first year of business! You’ll go through a lot in the next two years to get to this point, but you can do anything!

First, you need to hear this: you’re absolutely amazing, creative, and can do anything you set your mind to. Your dreams of marking off “become your own boss” off your bucket list will happen. It’s going to be a tough road ahead and there will be plenty of ups and downs, but you can do it!

Since you purchased your used Canon camera from a friend two years ago and spent hours upon hours learning how to use manual mode, so many amazing things will happen. You’ll:

• get some pretty amazing “wins” under your belt,
• have the opportunity to photograph so many amazing people,
• meet some pretty cool and talented people in the industry,
• and learn to be more organized and how to manage your time better.

You’ll be overwhelmed and might even cry sometimes, because somethings are really difficult, but I promise you WILL get through it. Your drive, determination, and strong work ethic landed you in the position you are in now and will take you many places!

I cannot wait to see where you are a year from now! Keep up the hard work!
