During this time, babies are still very sleepy, allowing me to capture those adorable curled-up poses and serene expressions that melt hearts. After two weeks, babies become more alert, making it harder to achieve the classic newborn look.
When to Reserve Your Spot
It’s never too early to book your newborn session! I recommend securing your session during your second trimester. Since babies rarely arrive on their exact due date, I’ll mark your estimated delivery date on my calendar and adjust as needed once your baby is born. This ensures we’re ready to photograph your little one during their sweet, sleepy stage.
What If Your Baby Arrives Early or Late?
Life with a newborn is unpredictable, but I’ve got you covered. Whether your baby arrives earlier or later than expected, I’ll work with you to adjust the session date so we stay within the ideal window. Flexibility is part of the process!

Absolutely! While the traditional newborn poses might not be achievable, older newborns bring their own charm to a session. Babies 3–6 weeks old are more alert, allowing me to capture beautiful awake shots and interactions with parents and siblings.
